The historic McKinley Elementary School in Milwaukee was once abandoned with an uncertain future. Now as part of an adaptive reuse project, it will be converted into affordable housing with preference given to veterans and their families. Advanced Restoration completed the new masonry construction of the dumpster enclosure, split-face masonry sign, elevator shaft, and new openings, infills, and brick masonry columns.
